Have you just got your hands on a pair of JLab earbuds? Congratulations! But are you having trouble connecting only the left earbud? Don’t worry, this guide is here to help. By following the steps outlined below, you’ll be able to connect only the left earbud in no time.  

Step 1:

Put your JLab earbuds into pairing mode by pressing and holding both buttons for three seconds until one of the LED lights starts flashing blue and red alternately. 

Step 2:

On your device (phone, tablet, laptop, etc.), turn on Bluetooth. Make sure your device is visible to other devices. Note that you may need to enter a PIN number if prompted. 

Step 3:

Select “JLab Audio” on your device’s list of available Bluetooth devices. If there are multiple options listed, select “JLab Audio LEFT” which will be indicated by an L on the end of the name. The LED light should now be solid blue indicating that it is connected successfully. 

Step 4:

You can now control audio playback with either button on the earbud; press once to play/pause or double-press to skip forward/backward respectively. If you want to adjust volume, use your device’s media playback controls instead of the buttons on the earbud itself as those will not affect volume levels. 

Troubleshooting Tips: In some cases, it may take a few attempts before successful connection occurs between your device and either earbud; if this happens, simply repeat Step 3 until connection is established. Also make sure that both earbuds are in pairing mode before attempting connection as this can also cause issues if only one is in pairing mode at a time.
